CAF fines Sierra Leone FA US$2,500

The head of competitions of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) Sorie Ibrahim Sesay has told that a total fine of US$2,500 has been imposed on the SLFA by the African football governing body, CAF for withdrawing from the qualifying series of two continental competitions.

Ebola health workers in Sierra Leone

Sierra Leone and Guinea have been told to relocate their home Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers because of the Ebola virus outbreaks in their countries.

The Confederation of African Football has written to its member associations to inform them of its decision.
