A home-based dominated Leone Stars team woefully lost 4-0 away to the Jordanian national team Al-Nashama in an International friendly match at the Amman International Stadium in Jordan.

Jordan were deserving winners as they enjoyed a better possession of the ball and clearly dominated the game. Leone Stars were unimpressive.

The Jordanians side got  their open goal in the 8th minute through Shadi Nadmi who capitalised on an error by converted left back Alhassan Bangura.

But striker, Alhaji Kamara had an opportunity to level things in the 21st minute in a one on one situation but failed to beat the Jordanian goalkeeper, Amer Shafee.

Four minutes later, goalkeeper, Habib was forced make to double important saves but failed in his third attempt to save Hamza Dardour's header from a counter-attack to make it 2-0 two minutes to the break.

Leone Stars started the second period with the introduction of Idrissa Sesay, Issa Zuma Kamara and Morie Alie in place of Mohamed Bangura, Junior Lahai Coker and Alhassan Bangura respectively.

The  introduction of the trio by Coach John Keister nearly paid off as striker Kamara again came close to scoring but saw his chance rolled out just inches from the post.

An own goal from defender Yayah Janneh took the game to 3-0 before defender Basem Fathi broke an off-side trap to wrap up a 4-0 home win.

It was the second defeat for Leone Stars within three days after they lost to Iraq in Istanbul in another friendly international match.

Leone Stars used the two matches to gear up for their three 2014 World Cup and 2013 Africa Cup of Nations matches in June against Cape Verde, Equatorial Guinea and Sao Tome & Principe respectively.
