Sierra Leone Premier League to start next month<\/strong><\/p>\n The Sierra Leone Premier League is expected to kick-off on or around 15th<\/sup> April 2017.<\/p>\n The decision was made by 13 of the 14 Premiership clubs, at a meeting held on 28th<\/sup> March at the Football secretariat in Kingtom. Freetown City FC were not represented at the meeting.<\/p>\n As a curtain raiser to the long-awaited league there will be a Peace Gala competition between the 14 clubs run on a knockout basis at a date yet to be set.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n SLFA Premier League Board formed<\/strong><\/p>\n A seven person Sierra Leone Premier League Board has been formed to manage and run the administration of football for the 2017-2018 season.<\/p>\n Three members were selected by the Premier League Board stakeholders whilst another four were selected by the SLFA.<\/p>\n In preparation for this year\u2019s Premier League the SLFA, donated sporting materials to the Premier League clubs: Adidas travelling bags, ball holder bags, medical kit bags, balls and bibs.<\/p>\n
